I’ve always marveled at the fact that we can create something from nothing. The act of painting pulls me into deeper thoughts about existence: how we got here, what it means to be present, and how fleeting moments become memory. Through oil, I allow myself to fall into these reflections and give shape to the realizations that surface along the way.
